he has no choice...his obsession with being THE RIGHT ONE..leaves him no room to take losing or even the “threat” of losing like a MAN.

“While DOJ thinks it will ultimately prevail on the merits, department officials believe they would not succeed in seeking an emergency stay.”
Translation: they know they can’t make a proper legal argument that would satisfy the lower courts, but they have enough Supreme Court justices in their pocket that it won’t matter once it gets to that level.

They know they will lose. That said, it won’t keep them from trying to get political mileage out of the decision.

Open borders is a looooser in a fair election. Last November Oregon voters rejected drivers licenses for illegals by 67-32%
http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2014/11/05/oregon-voters-overwhelming-reject-driver-s-licenses-for-illegals/
So you are correct that as this judge delays matters the Nov 2016 election gets too close for Hillary and others to come out blatantly for open borders by criticizing this Texas judge’s delay on 0-Zero granting legal status to 5 million border jumpers. PLUS PLUS PLUS this means 0-Zero mostly likely will be too chicken to pull another executive order/action/memo what have you, to legalize other millions of illegal aliens which I figured was in the cards due to the GOP caving on this and everything.
The Chamber of Commerce is pissed off! F’em!!

Yeah, remember how the ‘Rats begged Obama to hold off on Executive Amnesty until AFTER the last election? Well, now they look to be facing that issue head on in the next election. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Hopefully the SC will take its normal 2 years to even take up the case and this will all be settled by the next president. Maybe you should read post 10 to get the real meaning of this ruling. The Ruling gives cover to the GOPe to pass the funding bill in toto, then the President will just ignore the stay and proceed as if nothing happened.

Also, if the Times is to be believed, they are going for a Supreme Court ruling, even though that will take more time.
To: txhurl
Trying to make law. The work permits are the sticking point. They are a benefit, and therefore cannot be decided by imperial fiat.
To: PJ-Comix
OK. So then he will ignore the ruling.

The truth is there is no single most influential man in Washington and if there were most of us would be surprised to hear his name. Now here’s an especially fragrant fart for you
