“Dogs are just fascinating,” Santos said. “We love them, they live in our homes. Anyone who hangs out with a dog is kind of wondering, ‘what are they thinking, do they love me’."

Many of the dogs I know are kinder and more loving than many of humans I know.

In general, dogs are preferable to people. Especially Liberals.

“By the end of the puppet show test, the dogs did indeed appear to be weary of the rat puppet.”

Our dogs like to watch “The Five” on Fox.

They like Dana Perino, but they appear to be weary of Bob Beckel. Come to think of it, he is also a rat puppet.

Laurie Santos, director of the Yale Canine Cognition Center, explains that hundreds of volunteer dogs are used as subjects of puppet shows and a series of other cognitive tests

Well there you go. Obviously dogs are smarter than we thought. After all, at least SOME of them were able to read the fliers asking for volunteers.

Good thing they did not use my dog. She would have torn the rat puppet to shreds.

I have always believed that every level of God’s creation, from the sub-atomic to the cosmological and everywhere in between, is infinitely complex. This obviously includes anything biological. Virtually every major new scientific discovery reveals a new layer of complexivity, highly integrated and apparently designed to accomplish various specific tasks. Yet some would have you believe this is a random coincidence.

“Fetch the ball!”
“Fetch the ball!”
“Fetch the ball!”
“Fetch the stick?”
“Fetch the ball!”
“Is it time to eat??”
“Is it time to.... CAR!!!”
“Look at the car!!”
“Is it time to eat??”

I think dogs are telepathic. My dog always seems to know what I intend to do before I do it. He also lets me know when he needs something, like a lift up on the bed. He is smarter than a lot of people I run into.

People may have designed the 747, but dogs are just a better species all the way around.

Sorry, that’s all there is to it, may dogs inherit the Earth.

My dog is too smart to watch TV. Chasing real things is way more entertaining. I agree.

No,not the entire aircraft...but I designed the little cup holder that drops down from the seat in front of you.Took me three years to get it in under budget.

Your dog is still young. In a few years, chasing things will be harder. I don’t know if he’ll watch TV, though.

My dog doesn’t know she’s a dog. When another dog approaches her, she completely ignores them. And I mean COMPLETELY.

"I think dogs are telepathic. My dog always seems to know what I intend to do before I do it."

I read a study a few years ago that said you communicate with your dog much more with your facial expressions than with verbal commands. Dogs are unbelievably perceptive in taking meaning and understanding from your facial cues.
