Thinking of the infamous quote from John Lennon about the Beatles being more popular than Jesus Christ. Any freeper men got dragged into the theater to see this POS? The only redeeming thing about this whole Fifty phenomena is supposedly the book/movie makes references to Austen, Bronte sisters, and Hardy. A lot of the reviews are comparing Anastasia/Christian to a perverted version of Eyre/Rochester and Cathy/Heathcliff. So perhaps some of the women who like this trash might actually pick up one of those authors.

Second week is immune to hype. Reviews from people that watched it have been bad, and these were from the target audience.

PASSION did 380 Million domestic. After this first weekend(which, if you follow sites like Boxoffice.com, is something of a disappointment to people who follow ticket sales of movies; they expected 100 Million),business will sink like a rock. It won’t do anywhere near the business of PASSION.

LOL! It won’t make even half as much as ‘Christ’ did in the end
