Shedrake thinks the Times Sunday Crossword puzzle is easier to solve on tuesday than on sunday because by tuesday, so many people have solved it that the correct answers are floating in the ether.

so many people have solved it that the correct answers are floating in the ether. That is not a new idea. Rubic's Cube is often touted as evidence of this theory of shared learning. I personally still use the cube that is all one color so I can't attest to the truth of that theory.
