Wax, the ultimate distillation of marijuana, is so potent that it is said a single hit will keep a person high for more than a day.

“We have seen people have an onset of psychosis and even brain damage from that exposure to that high concentration of THC,” said Gary Hill, assistant special agent in charge at the DEA's San Diego office.

I never learned until after I quit smoking tobacco that nicotine is a production of the tobacco plant as a natural pesticide.

I have never seen anyone become agressive, hyperbolic or delusional.

I can’t remember his name or where or when this happened but I personally know the wife of a friend of my second cousin’s next door neighbor’s accountant who too a single hit off of one marijuana cigarette and later, … he died. I think.

This is likely brought to you by the same “scientists” that brought us anthropogenic global warming.

Hyperactivity? Aggression? Delusion? Perhaps this happens to hyperactive, aggressive, delusional nutjobs when they smoke pot, but not for the vast majority of pot smokers who find it a relaxing, peaceful, fun experience.

If a drug is to be feared because a minuscule number of people get hyperactive & aggressive, then alcohol, which causes these reactions in virtually everyone, should be outlawed immediately. See domestic violence & bar fight statistics for reference. We had better ban caffeine, too, the drug of choice for the hyperactive, aggressive business world.

Smoking cannabis can lead to manic behaviour: Hyperactivity, aggression and delusion are all strongly linked with the drug, researchers warn

Well that could certainly explain some of our obsessive dope pushers on this website.

From the paper's abstract:

"We were only able to identify a small number of studies of variable quality, thus our conclusions remain preliminary." - http://www.jad-journal.com/article/S0165-0327%2814%2900570-9/abstract

From the posted news item:

"a study published this month found marijuana could be used to treat the depression that results from long term stress."
