He’s had a great run. He should thank the Bronco’s and bow out gracefully.
I really like the guy and would hate to watch him get hurt, or just plain old suck.

I bet he could be a good backup for many years but probably would refuse the job.

Peyton doesn't need Brett's advice.

Peyton was banged up at the end of last season and I think he just wants to see how his body feels after he heals. There's also a change in coaching staff and obviously he wants to know what kind of offense will be installed.

"To thine own self be true"

Manning and Favre are my favorite present day QB's.

If Peyton thinks he can play and the Broncos don't have a QB better than him then I say do what ya love bro!

At this point in his life, he's already a hall of famer and has nothing more to prove and if he continues to play and compete then it's for the love of the game...........I can understand that.

Come playoff time Peyton’s body is broken down due to age and previous injuries. So what’s the point in continuing to play if he can’t finish the season? And he’ll be a year older next season so it’s not like things will get any better for him.

My advice to Mr. Manning, take the 8 figures the networks are going to pay you to have fun every Sunday while sitting at a desk.

Two things need to come together for Peyton Manning to play NFL football for another season:

Peyton Manning wants to play.

An NFL club offers Peyton Manning a contract to play.

If those two conditions are met, then Peyton Manning will play another year and we'll get to see more "Peyton-Face" whenever he throws for an interception.

Peyton is currently #13 on the all-time interception list and another season will allow him to sneak into the Top 10 (Eli's currently at #33 with years left to go.)

I'll be rooting for him.
