One of the things they did to try and save Century III Mall after it was on the path to demise was to reroute all of the buses from Amish areas of town. Instead of stopping at the mall they now stop up on top of the hill by Walmart.

That decision was made by a bunch of white politicians.
Of course they were all Democrats, so nobody cried RAAAAAACISM!

Not all of the buses. There is still a bus from downtown Pittsburgh and a route that comes from the Mon Valley. But service has declined considerably on these routes. I think the downtown bus is now once an hour. Used to be more frequent.

Also, Century III and most other malls no longer have bus service right to the front door. Most buses leave you off on the outer edge of the parking lot and you have to walk a distance to get to the building. I think malls got tired of cleaning up the trash the ferals used to leave all over. These slobs don't know how to use a trash can.
