There is a lot to be said for that view. Many "nice guys" have found themselves instantly relegated to the "friend" category while the girl goes after a guy who is clearly bad news. He drinks, he's violent, he doesn't have a job, and he cheats -- a lot women are really drawn to that type of guy.

'Cause they're gonna fix him.

Men don’t want to get married these days and I understand them.

Women who expect a guy to be everything for them are childish and immature.

No man on earth can live up to those expectations.

You love someone for who they really are or there’s not going to be any substance to a relationship.

This fair tale notion a frog will turn into a prince is fantasy.

Women who want a certain type of guy will never be truly happy.

An old bit of wisdom, well-proven by history:

A bad woman can make a good man bad.
A good woman can make a bad man good.

But a bad man cannot make a good woman bad.
And a good man cannot make a bad woman good.

The dark side of princess shows like “Beauty and the Beast”, loving him will somehow transform him into a good guy.
And she ignores the decent men in her life in the hope of becoming great by improving a bad guy.
