Water World was actually not that bad of a movie.

I saw it a few times and have enjoyed it.

But whatever Hollywood used to have, it no longer has.

They just seem to produce a steady stream of garbage, which is surprising considering that they have the special effects technology to create anything that they want, any place, any thing, any time.

Yet they cannot create anything worthwhile or of value, most especially a good story and compelling characters.

Ah yes, “Water World”: “The Road Warrior” in a pool. Let’s not forget Kevin Costners other piece of post-apocalyptic dreck, “The Postman”.

Dennis Hopper was great in WaterWorld as was Kim Coates. Everything else pretty much laid eggs.
