No, VanDeKoik, it is extremely obvious you DO CARE, otherwise you would not be littering these threads with your bile, vile insults, and starting the nastiness. YOU come in and start the attacks. YOU claim these things happen in Windows and Android threads, but I challenge you to demonstrate anything EVEN CLOSE to what you Apple haters do in those threads. I'm confident you can't do that. . . I know because no one has ever risen to that challenge no matter how many times I've made it.

I am educated as an Economist and I know how to do a study and analyze data. . . and I did exactly that on that very subject on FreeRepublic.

Several years ago I went back over a couple of hundred tech threads on FreeRepublic, 100 Apple threads and 100 Windows oriented threads, and analyzed the commentary on Apple v. Windows threads, looking for exactly what you claim because another frothing at the mouth anti-Apple troll claimed his postings on Apple threads were justified by what Apple users were doing on Windows threads.I posted the results on FR.

The number of vile, insulting, and downright nasty comments in Apple threads from Anti-Apple Trolls far outnumbered anything similar in Windows threads from anti-Windows Trolls about 20 to 1. . . and the level of invective and sheer nastiness was far, far worse in the Apple threads. I provided not just examples of each, but every comment that was at all negative from both.

• On the Windows threads, I found the Apple users comments were mostly of the "Get a Mac" or negatively commenting on the Windows OPERATING SYSTEM primarily because they've had experience with it, or negatively about Microsoft itself, but seldom attacking the Windows users themselves. Certainly they did not jump into the threads to participate in unprovoked attacks on users or even the system. As I said above, I posted every single instance of a negative comment from an Apple user in such Windows thread I found, with links to the comment. There were very few.

• On the Apple threads, the Windows users FREQUENTLY attacked the apple users, the operating system, Apple, the people who work at Apple, the board of Directors of Apple, they insulted people who made innocuous comments on the thread, called them insulting names, refused to use their actual Freepnames, often used ad hominem arguments, attacked their families, used belittling phrases describing their personal characteristics, questioned their sexuality, sexual orientation, their computer skills, their common sense, their intelligence, and their politics, all without any factual foundation except their choice to use a computer that was NOT a Windows computer. Again, I posted every single example I found in those Apple threads. . . and there were literally HUNDREDS of such disparaging, nasty, insulting, hurtful, untruthful, personally damaging, and non-productive, non-germane to the discussion attack comments from Apple threads. . . with links to the replies containing the attacks. And those were just the ones that had not been removed by the Admin Moderators for abuse! There were a lot of those as well!

Those things literally NEVER happened in FR Windows threads from Apple users to Windows users. You Apple-haters are vile when you "vent" your disagreement. Apple users are seldom vile.

I challenge YOU, VanDeKoik, to show these vile Apple users in Windows and Android threads where they are insulting the users of those platforms in the same way that you trolls insult Apple users in Apple threads. Go on, find such vile insults, attacks, and calumny in a Windows or Android thread. DEMONSTRATE your assertion.

I GOT ATTACKED FOR POSTING THE ANALYSIS, with the attackers claiming I was lying, that I had not done the study, had made up the replies I had posted (even though they were linked to the originals in their threads), had cherry picked the Apple threads ignoring a lot that had no comments from Windows users, and ignored the "really nasty" Apple user's comments in the Windows threads, without offering any evidence of fraud on my part, or even providing any counter evidence. Of course these attackers used the same invective they used in the Apple threads. The anti-Apple haters, like all liars and bullies, cannot stand the light of truth. The irony was delicious.

Why? Because they really want Windows users to find what they have found. . . the solution to the problems they are complaining about . . . and the "Get a Mac" comment is not snide, it is heart felt advice meant to literally SOLVE THEIR PROBLEMS ONCE AND FOR ALL. You just don't get that we do know what we are talking about. You literally cannot believe it.

You Windows users are the majority being discriminatory to a minority. . . and being rude and extremely nasty in the way you go about it.

Well you can keep on with the poor me victim complex, like you are some Democrat grievance minority group, and I fully do not expect you, like those people, to ever mentally get how loony you come off with your utterly obsessive need to convince everyone of the “superiority” of the products you fork money over to Apple for. People that devoted to a corporate brand, short of an employee under their pay, rarely will.

I suggest you try things from other platforms, and maybe broaden your horizons. Only then will you break free from the unhealthy relationship you have with a corporate brand.
