More snow on the way, too.

Is this as unusual as it sounds for NC ?

I modified it. The actual reference was to Orion’s belt, which wasn’t right, either. They were talking about the cat’s collar.
Poetic license, as opposed to a pet license.

Oh! My heart! That is the Squeeist Kitteh I’ve seen in a LONG time!
42 degrees here, 56% with a lake effect wind advisory are in effect until 1700 today. I will be staying indoors, as the pollen counts will be up, even after the rain. I DO have to go look at Mt Charleston so I can “Ooooohhh” about the snow...

Poetic license, as opposed to a pet license. I would like to buy a fish license please.
A what license?
A fish license. A license for my pet fish, Eric.

They were talking about the cats collar. To be fair, English was probably the Ambassador's 47th language, and he was in extremis when he said it.
A narrow article of clothing that goes around a center line body part.

A few years back, while I was deep in unemployment, I came across a job that looked like a near perfect fit.
Only it was located about 100 km north of Moscow.
I checked the weather, it was -50°C that day.
I didn’t apply.
