Tonight's episode;
"We Build, We Fight" - NCIS S12 E13
Gibbs and the team investigate when a Navy lieutenant who is set to be the first openly gay servicemember to receive the Medal of Honor is murdered
What put me off Blue Bloods was not so much the gay episode, just the inference that the problem is us. That you don’t care if someone is gay or not isn’t good enough for the gaystapo anymore.
I quit watching NCIS when Mossad agent Ziva David (played by
Cote de Pablo) left the show.
I like NCIS New Orleans better than LA and didn’t think I would. NCIS LA has almost a buddy picture feel to it. They ( NCIS LA ) once spent a few minutes in the opening talking about holiday cards, purposely going out of their way to avoid saying Christmas.
I used to watch NCIS religiously. Then, I started noticing that they were regularly violating civil rights as a plot device. The people’s civil rights were nothing more than an obstacle to be overcome in getting the bad guy.
When they started focusing on 2nd amendment rights as evil......well.....that’s when I quit. Haven’t watched it for quite a while now, and my blood pressure is much lower.
I liked the banter between Kate and Dinozo so that was it for me. I like some comic relief in dramas I watch.
That you dont care if someone is gay or not isnt good enough for the gaystapo anymore.
***
Exactly. You are expected to celebrate the perversion.
As others have observed, the love that once dare not speak its name will now not just shut the heck up.
I used to like NCIS but in one episode, one guy they thought was the victim was the killer. So Montegna’s character and the lead guy went to the father and laid heavy into the gay agenda, it was sickening. Last I saw of CM.
Why is it still called Person of Interest? I miss the original format when the stories were actually about a person of interest.
I quit watching Criminal Minds when they started attacking Florida for it’s stand your ground laws during the Zimmerman trial. I know they shot the show months earlier but don’t think it was a coincidence that it aired at the time.
Not to mention many shows end with the a prime character acting stereotypical homosexual. Even other characters on the show accuse the character of becoming homosexual or “girlie”. The show typically spirals to an end when that happens.
Is that the new “taste the rainbow” Skittles’ ad?
Ew! Glad I cut off my tv going on a year now.
Haven’t watched it in 3 years. Don’t miss it.
They simply filmed it in preperarion for finding a case to make an issue of. It’s all planned.
Yep. We are (were) big time NCIS fans. We “deselected” our DVR from recording all future episodes, due to this gay episode.
We used to watch Blue Bloods and Person of Interest, too. That is....until the gay story lines were worked in.
1% of the population isn’t going to have influence on what we (the majority) watch. (I had much higher expectations of Mark Harmon, Tom Selleck and Jim Caviezel.)
Yeah, I’ve reached my limit. Why do a character’s sexual choices matter to the plot of a show like that? There are plenty of homosexual shows on already.
I did not know that about Blue Bloods. Darn, it is one of my favorite shows.
