Wow, your ripping on me for a spelling mistake of which I already realized and corrected. You should perhaps visit those Muir woods of which you take your moniker. Walk among the serenity and get rid of some of that anger over having been wrong.

Angry, not me. Every time a ref throws a flag a rule has been violated. I don’t obsess over it the way some do. It gets worked out. Unquestionably the best team won. Some angry folks can’t accept that.
BTW, I’m a Giants fan.

That's not me either. Actually being a Steelers fan I'm quite happy with the outcome. Now all those whiny Seahawk fans crying about SuperBowl 40 (still) will completely forget about that and be crying and complaining about Superbowl 49. The problem is, they can only cry and whine about their own team's blunders.

“Stealing signals was not, and is not illegal.”
After the investigation, Goodell determined that what they did was in violation of league rules
...but not for stealing signals, or for any sneaky thing. For filming from an unauthorized location...which Belichick had directed to be done openly and officially.
The size of the fine was because Belichick was and is essentially the GM.
