Today's feature is a must-see for "Mad Men" fans. It details the comic misadventures of a happily married, mid-1960s advertising man(Jack Lemmon) when he impersonates his wife's(Dorothy Provine) best friend(Romy Schneider) and the screwball antics that ensue. Lemmon embodies expertly the All-American comic everyman while Misses Provine and Schneider provide a perfect "Mary Ann/Ginger" balance as his 2 leading ladies. Good help from Edward G. Robinson, Mike "Mannix" Connors, Louis "Sonny Drysdale" Nye, Neil "Commisioner Gordon" Hamilton and Kym "Gretyl von Trapp" Karath.

Jack Lemmon was a man and an actor of his time. From what I’ve read, Jack was a quick study, as seen in that movie where he played a Soda Jerk with athletic grace and perfection. He should have been in a TV series, but in those days, there were certain stars who people thought were ‘too big for TV’, such as Sammy Davis Jr. or Elizabeth Taylor.
Jack has a son Chris Lemmon, who at 61, looks a lot like his dad did. Chris Lemmon is putting on a tribute show in Santa Monica called “Jack Lemmon Returns.
