What I’m seeing are generally good reviews from friends on the left but, when they are alone or out of ear shot they feign being horrified about the boy and the woman in the beginning.

I don’t comment because I’m not suppose to be a part of the conversation and besides, they are know “Theyz uh acten stoopit”.

I hate that an innocent kid lost his life but, the rules for being allowed to continue being a card carry member of the human race are universal.

He didn’t shoot a kid!

Why would I quote the book?

The commentary is on the visual and in the movie, he apparently does.

Which would be germain to a conversation with those who supposedly don’t believe in the second ammendment, the individual right, believe the war was wrong(despite the fact the 1st black President, signed the Iraq Liberation Act, signaling the USA view and intent), believe that we have been executioners in Iraq, that we actually tortured people(I don’t care if Jack Bauer tortured them), that we are somehow the cause of their 1,400 years of aggression to the world(Most people think history happened only yesterday) and on and on.

Seems pointless to point out that he never wrote about killing a kid but, would it be any different than what soldiers have faced since time immemorial? ala Vietnam?

What would be the choice?

You can’t reason with dilitants...

I didn’t consider the kid innocent when he tried to blow up the soldiers. I’m surprised you called him innocent.

Obama’s drones have killed family members including “innocent kids”. These “kids” are more innocent than the one in the movie who is trying to kill soldiers. How come the left won't talk about the kids killed by Obama’s drones?

I don’t think a child has the consciousness to carry out, much less plan and understand war strategy.

That said, the second you present a danger to my guys, you are a threat and need to be stopped by whatever and any means.

.308 at hundreds of yards is going to pretty much end the danger, particularly my “Must Send Round” of Scirroco .308.

Goes through school houses and a couple people at a time...

Not looking back at my previous post I’m pretty sure I at least implied cutting up someone’s membership card to the human race if they move into the realm of a presently dangerous....

Zactly and you could make the case that it is indiscriminate.

Strange bedfellows alert.

“[It] reflects those wrenching stories that I’ve heard- the complex journeys that our men and women in uniform endure,” said Obama. “The complicated moral decisions they are tasked with every day. The stresses of balancing love of family with a love of country. And the challenges of transitioning back home to their next mission in life.”
