The Bible Predicts that that a Iranian - Russian alliance would form in the last days and make one last push to control world events. The prophet Ezekiel, in Ezekiel 38-39, predicted 2500 years ago that Persia (Iran) and the country to the extreme north of Israel, Magog (Russia), would lead a coalition invasion of Israel and Palestine. The coalition would be led by a strong Russian ruler who Ezekiel called Gog (Putin is a good candidate with his 80% approval rating). Among the nations that Gog would muster besides Iran are the following; Turkey, Trans-caucus States, Sudan, and Libya.

Ezekiel goes on to predict that this invasion will be disastrous for Iran and Russia and its coalition nations. G-d himself shall send earthquakes, pestilence, and other natural disasters causing all the coalition nations to fight each other until all are almost destroyed...

I was thinking maybe Russia and China, but Iran makes more sense.
