Quitting as gov wasn’t a good career move.
Very good points here. Applies to FR because bandwagoning is so strong here. It is indeed anti-conservative to put personality over principal, and that happens a lot here.
Sarah has made dishonestly bad choices.
Sarah Palin is on fire. She’s got the RomBush’s attacking her while ObamaBoehnerMcconnell are spending America into oblivion.
Running that article, with those paragraphs, written by an Old Oxonian with two middle names, National Review could have more aptly entitled it “NR Slips Into Self-Parody”.
And, I suppose you can't, for the life of you, figure out why Governor Sarah Palin quit her term of office?
If you do know, tell me why she quit her term of office.
Articles like this are informative. Not because what they have to say is persuasive, intelligent or even factual. Bur because NR is the kneepad journal of record for the gop-e. So you get sort of an advance look at what the propaganda and spin is going to be.
As regards SP, it looks like the gop faction of the uniparty is dedicated to continuing with its longstanding policy of marginalizing its conservative base. I particularly enjoy the reference to SP supporters as being somehow mentally or emotionally deficient. PDS really is an emerging mental disorder.
And all this effort and angst over someone who probably won’t run anyway.
Heard clips of speech and agree with
one commenter to article: she sounded drunk.
Maybe drunk with celebrity bravado.
08:”Gee Katie I don’t really read
newspapers.”
She gives some conservatives hard-ons.
After hearing the clip compilation
I didn’t want to hear five minutes
of her talking let alone 4 or 8years
of ‘Madame President’. With her inexperience
to me she’s the GOP’s Barack Obama. She
sounded liks an unfunny comedian.
Works both ways - some shouldn’t be elected and some shouldn’t be allowed to vote.
ANOTHER “Palin is unelectable” article? She definitely still has the left’s and republican establishment’s attention.
Wow, well we know where National Review stands don’t we? Haha.
Palin isn’t my first choice, or even my second (Walker, then Cruz in that order). But I can guarantee you I’d vote for her over Jeb Bush, Mitt Romney, or even Ron Paul (excuse me RAND Paul).
I’ll bet the National Review wouldn’t go that far. After all, lots of illegals to suddenly magically make legal in their minds. You betcha.
Good excerpting. :)
I don't care a whit what the left or the media say. I expect disinformation and trash from them. It's the GOPe and their well paid minions constant berating of Gov. Palin and her family that offend me and millions of other American voters.
Gov. Sarah Palin - targeted for political and personal destruction by the left, the media and now the GOPe for being overtlyPro-Freedom, Pro-American, Pro-Life, Pro Traditional Family, Pro-Christian and Pro-Capitalist. These qualities threaten the very fabric of the left in America and the World today.
Considering the fact that she doesn't come from royalty, has never been honored for her "societal coming out" and never attended an ivy league college, I'd say you're right, she's just outback country white trash......./s
After reading all the criticism of Gov Palin, I saw and heard it fully. And I instantly understood why the media have got their panties in a twist. This speech was up there with the Gettysburg address. Powerful. The libs are scared out of their wits because they have never heard anything like it.
1) you’re a masochist
2) I have more issues with Palin now than in 2008 when she made my eyes tear up
3) National Review are snobby beltway sock cap types who always hated her....they suck ...they ...not their founder.....are the enemy same as Dems
