When Angela Ihegboro first saw her newborn daughter, she was speechless. Shes a miracle baby, the 35-year-old mother said yesterday. But still, what on Earth happened here? What happened is that baby Nmachi is a blond, blue-eyed white baby born to two black Nigerian immigrant parents at a London hospital.

we think youre child may be “gay”...so.....
Sharpton will protest almost anything having to do with “race”....
rite awn rite awn!!
Probably albinoism. The child is very fair, but has Black features.
Black or white, she’s a little beauty.
My understanding has long been that black babies are all born nearly white and only darken as they are exposed to light. This one is a bit different but I also understand that this is not without precedent. Seemingly pure blooded Nordic parents occasionally pop out a Mediterranean looking child.
they say that they watched the “birthing” so I guess that rules out any switches ..accidental or elsewise.
Doesn’t really look like a typical white baby either. From what I’ve read the skin does tend to darken some over time but never gets typically black.
I hope they’re not Complaining. Think of all the privilege the kid is born with.
I first noticed the rather distinctively wide nose...which seems to points to some form of albinism.
Hopefully the parents who appears sane....are..or the kids in for a real bad ride
True indeed.
Ah, blow it out! Hoo hoo hoo!

There are a few possibilities.
Years ago I was a medical missionary in the Yucatan peninsula. While being greeted by countless Mayans , I was stunned to see a gorgeous blond, blue eyed 3 year old looking up at me. The Mayan translator winked at me and said “Even missionaries get lonely at night”
No kidding - they do tend to LOOK DOWN on children with parents of unmatched sex.
Mama’s baby, papa’s maybe.
All babies are born white. It takes a few hours for whatever pigment is dominant to start developing. The blue eyes can go back eight generations if either mom or dad had any mixed blood. Same with blonde hair. I wonder if mom has finished ‘splainin’yet?
The child would be turning 5 this year, so it would be interesting to see what the little girl looks like now. I was looking on Google, but couldn’t find a definitive photo (there were some other couples, however, with similarly fair-skinned children).
