12Z run of Euro:
Yeah I know.
Unfortunately we’re on the outskirts of it.
And the voice warning transponder crackled to life to ominously emit this omen, “You will be sucker punched off this snowy mountain face by a yeti.”
Patently ridiculous, I thought, there are no yeti here.
Just my friend Ralph who is coming through the door grumbling right now...
Looks great for Canaan Valley.
Too bad I have to work :(
Unless we have a on-target Nor’easter, the weather here is almost unpredictable outside of a couple of days. Even then sometimes the prediction is iffy.
:)
They will probably wait for the next model runs to come out before shifting their forecast.
um, yeah, six inches here, too, in SoCal. :)
Thanks Mr. Vendome.
Is Ralph 7` 2” with a hair problem?
2 feet of snow in the humid, occasionally cold northeast isn’t unprecedented, and the area of such snowfall isn’t that great. But what’s so impressive is how perfectly it lines up with the Philly-NJ-NY and Boston urban areas.
I’ll take the one on the left end. She appears to be the only one I can be sure has natural breasts.
I hate boob jobs.
Came through Kentucky last night, still in first gear apparently. We got 5 inches and the roads were clear well before noon.
We got the beauty of the snow with none of the grief.
My..uh. .temperate just went up.
I’m going to be traveling to Long Island Monday morning and will be in Nassau county on business through Thursday. Looks like I’m going to be stuck in the hotel for at least a full day.
That may or may not help them any, depending on what fudgefactor, er I mean, model they use...
The 6-7 inches of congealed glowbull warmthing that I just finished removing from my drive was only supposed to be 1-3". And they stuck with that amount even after we had 4" on the ground...
Strangely, the total was then quietly revised to 4 - 6".. And as the total was quickly reaching that 6" mark they added another phrase - "possibility of locally higher amounts".
Nothing like covering all the bases, eh?
Is that the angels visiting the shepherds?
That one is not the culprit. Although it will give an assist by pushing this storm further south.
Here is the present snow forecast from 4 different sources for my area along the coast just south of Boston.
weather.com Tues - 8-12 inches
weather underground -Tues 12+ in
Accuweather 8-16 in
NOAA talks blizzard but gives no accumulation yet. -Tom
wunderground has been running ahead of the other sites in bumping up the forecast amounts. They now have 12-20 for me while accuweather is still on 3-5.
