Diane Andryshak said she and her husband hadnt been at odds.
We were not fighting, we were not arguing, she told WABC-TV.
Which is likely why the Middletown, New York, woman was extra shocked when she returned to her house Monday expecting to see this:
but instead she found her home demolished, with all of her belongings inside courtesy of her husband of nine years, police said.

I asked him just kidding around if he was going to knock down the house with a bulldozer, and he said, Yeah. I thought he was kidding, neighbor Steve Belfiglio told WABC. So I went to work and when I came back this is what we found.
- Sarcasm Hurts -
She might have thought they weren’t at odds. It seems he felt differently.
That’s awful. Did he secretly have a beautiful mansion tucked away for them to move into? Get that man a padded room.
CALLING TIM “THE-TOOL-MAN” TAYLOR!!!!!!
He must have been off his Prozac!
That’s really weird.
Usually the husband thinks nothing’s wrong while the wife thinks they’re fighting...
Maybe it’s just a case of taking things too far. First you notice a little wallpaper coming off. You pull on that and notice the plaster comes off with it, so you pull off a little more to fix the plaster and notice the lathe needs repair. Then the studs are little rotten, and so is the outside sheating. Pretty soon, if you’re not paying attention, you’ve taken the whole house apart.
I’ve studied Psychology, my long distance prognosis is that they probably have communication problems.
I know that is a stretch, with so little information being available, but I will just lay that on the table.
My best guess....He wanted a divorce...and and she said no.
Second guess....she was a slob....and he told her if she didn't get rid of her cr**...he'd take care of it his way.
Something had to provoke her smart a** remark about the bulldozer.
Renovation??? or cleaning out a rat trap??
I know someone who did that with a cottage he had just bought. His wife came home to a chimney and a toilet.
I think there is a quiet little section of every guy (gals too) that has at one time or another wanted to bulldoze their house/life and get a fresh start.
Your level of perception is truly amazing.
LOL yes but the table's under a pile of rubble!
After all, I too once took a course in psychology in a local community college.
Who do I bill for my expert work?
I think we need to know what brought about this topic of conversation in the first place
You think!??
I was in a Graduate level MBA course on Business Policy. Lots of case studies. I hadn't read the case, but had listened to 10 minutes of discussion before the professor called on me and asked me what I thought the problem was.
I answered, "I think they have a communication problem." He eyed me for a minute and finally said, "Every business problem is a communication problem."
Something to think about.
I stayed at a Holiday Inn last night so my expert psychological take is...................................
Looks like they were in the middle of heavy renovations anyway. In the “destroyed” picture, that red thing in the background nearly obscured by debris is one of those big, open-top garbage skips often brought in during construction.
Definitely a candidate for FixerUpper..
I like DIY demolition..
I always do my own.
Never used a dozer before tho.
The you are exactly as qualified to be a psychologist as Obama was to become President. :)
