Are you sure he only has 2 more years? He does have a pen and a phone and he makes up his own rules as he goes with no regard to legality of such rules. So far, the only good job he has done is make the country more divisive than I've seen in 67 years. Good job brownie. And the IPOS eat it up with plenty of gimmes to the takers at the makers expense.

After he is “gone” the next President will not have the stones to roll back his EO’s (except maybe Cruz if he makes it) and the Congress will not dare to change the laws. We are stuck with his sh_t.

I have read the declaration of independence, and the constitution. We are ‘stuck’ with nothing. We are only inhibited by our own lack of willingness to act.

We are not stick with anything. Governments and countries come and go like breezes in the wind. Just look at Russia. From Communism to Capitalism to Fascism. All within 100 years. Three completely different sets of laws and regulations. The US had just gone from Capitalism to Fascism within about 25 years. Many laws today did not exist 25 years ago. Would be nice however to see governments heading in the right direction, but such is not the nature of the beast.

I have a dream and here it is:

President Ted Cruz
Vice President Scott Walker
Attorney General Trey Gowdy
Secretary of Defense Colonel Allen West
Secretary of the Treasury Donald Trump
Secretary of State Sarah Palin
Surgeon General Dr. Ben Carson
Secretary of the Interior Lynn Scarlett
Secretary of Commerce Neal Cavuto
Secretary of Agriculture Joni Ernst
Secretary of Labor Samuel “Joe the Plumber” Wurzelbacher
Secretary of HHS Michael B Enzi
Secretary of Transportation Michelle Bachman
Secretary of Energy Rick Snyder
Secretary of Education Dr. James Dobson
Secretary of Veterans Affairs Marcus Luttrell
Department of Homeland Security Joe Arpaio

This is just a former New York carpetbagger's rumination, I am welcome to any all criticism or other options.

Don't worry, we have a Republican Congress which will stop him in his tracks (do I really need the /sarc?)

Actually, although in complete control of the legislative branch and with a strong mandate, the GOPE leadership and far-too many members of the caucus are scared beyond words of the socialist-muslim president ... and despite his questionable intellect, obama knows this and will play it for all it's worth.

Debt, Obamacare, erosion of the Bill of Rights, and general big government intrusion into our lives. My money is on Obama to come close to his goal. I will continue praying for our country.

“Congress will not dare to change the laws. We are stuck with his sh_t.”

That’s the truth, and it ain’t pretty.

In the march towards socialism and the destruction of our country, when the enemy is allowed two steps forward and we only take one of those steps back, we are loosing the war. I am convinced the GOP is complicit and is only there to run interference for the outright socialists/libtards.

I want a pro 2nd prez and one who will put a stop the agw scam we’ve been living under. Then we need one who will tell the u.n. they’re being evicted. Don’t care where they go, but no more money to that scam either.

Obama’s reign has been like the perfect storm - couldn’t touch him because, for gosh sakes, he’s BLACK (supposedly but half white we don’t talk about). He gives a good speech like a used care salesman, he claimed to be Christian and then says we are no longer a Christian nation and gets away with it. He talked about the U.S. constitution when running then ignored, no, thumbed his nose at it when elected. We really don’t know his background, his friends or much about his family yet he was elected by one half of the country — TWICE! He is sympathetic to the terrorists, notice I didn’t say muslims, because he was raised a muslim. He has alienated our allies and they consider him a weakling. He said he would bring races together and we know how he worked that out don’t we, Rev. Al et al. So, we are living the perfect storm. Let’s hope America can survive it and can move on to a brighter day when we say farewell to the obamas. They will leave the WH not wiser but much richer.

I think you're wrong — I belive that the reason the GOP doesn't act is not because they're scared, but instead because they agree with the policies.

We can see evidence of this in their actions (or lack thereof) in no-lose political battles:

  1. NSA's domestic espionage programs — extremely unpopular and even a kabuki-style we tried to get rid of it would have generated some political capital.
(Actually, I think the big reason they didn't do the kabuki thing w/ it was precisely because it's so unpopular; everyone in congress would be getting calls, letters, and e-mails. )
  2. The IRS's political targeting — A lot of democrats still remember Nixon using the IRS as a political weapon, and a lot of people see IRS discrimination based on political belief as abhorrent.
  3. Fast and Furious, while not as universally reviled as those above would have generated some political capital if there had been an actual investigation with actual consequences.
(It's assumed by many that the reason there was no real investigation was that if there was even a minimal investigation it would lead to Obama; but the thing here is that it only serves to illustrate that the GOP is unwilling to pursue the corrupt and dispense Justice.)
  4. TARP, bailouts, etc — The Republicans have their fingers in these and obviously approve, even though there are mountains of evidence that there was corruption, fraud, extortion, and theft.
Taking all the above together, I think it is safe to say that the Republican party is just as corrupt and power-hungry as the Democrat party.

How about President Cruz nominates John Bolton as US ambassador to the UN? Would that work?
