Of course they told, bragged it up, etc. Via those friends, certain girlfriends got told, too, and they shared it with other girls, at least one of whom was an ex of at least one of the boys who got lucky, and it was told to someone in authority in the guise of, “I really shouldn’t be telling you this, but...”. Someone in authority could have been an administrator, or a parent.
