I’ve seen it the other way as well. T-shirts with Chinese characters that are reversed - mirror images because the printer didn’t know they were wrong.The best acupuncturist in our area, who is not Chinese, has a window and a wall covered with upside-down hanzi (Chinese writing). In the years that she has been in practice, I was the first to notice it, and none of her patients since have said anything to her AFAIK.
