if I was ever on a jury where someone sued there employer over being fired because they defended them selves and it went against there corporate policy. the corporation will lose big time.
Donquaz?
Yep, sounds like it might be a new experience for them.
Donquaz Devon Stevenson
I think he’s Swedish?
They are already on the black list.
She did exactly what all people in similar situations should do. Carry. It’s a win-win. If you never need the weapon, no one knows the difference. If you use the weapon, you get fired. That’s the risk and it’s worth taking as you may save your own life.
She’ll be fine and working at a better job very soon after she’s terminated, if that happens.
Tort reform!
EVERY industry has been forced to care more about avoiding litigation than about anything else.
This country need a tort system overhaul.
I went to that site, saw one of Obama’s Sons in his fake dredlocks, and three seconds later, I got a red screen claiming to be a PHISHING ALERT! Phish, meaning when people steal your online info. I hightailed it out of that site, and won’t be returning. I don’t know if that was a real or fake warning.
Hope the woman keeps her job, or finds a better one. It’s easy for corporate types to say “just let them have the money” or whatever. They don’t seem to grasp, or care, that a pizza deliveryman/woman is alone out there. In the world of thug logic, that often translates into “only one potential witness against them.” It doesn’t take a genius to do the math from there.
At least if drivers carry, they have a chance. And, while it won’t stop every robbery attempt, it will probably make a few thugs think twice. It just might put a few of them into the ground permanently, too.
Papa Johns already put their drivers in jeopardy by forcing drivers to deliver anywhere including to the “no go” addresses that the police and fire won’t respond to.
IMHO: options other than corporate Peat-za(tm):
Make your own. It’s easy and fun and tastes fantastic.
Or if you gotta good pizza place in the area owned by a decent neighbor, also fantastic.
Me likey !
Company policy of any decent American company should be to have as many employees as heavily armed and as practiced as possible.
Fits the Columbia Dr demographic.
This could be, and should be, a live-or-die decision for a company.
Bravo to the young lady. Wish I could have heard her say “Would you like some parmesan cheese or red peppers with that bullet, a—hole?”
Better ingredients
Better pizza
Better football......
Papa John.
Not.
