They could do a pre_sequel i.e. “Star Trek: Federation” covering the years after Enterprise, but before TOS (~ 2160-2260)

I would LOVE that, as long as they put Manny Cotto in charge, he did a great job on season four to try to clean up the mess the B and B did ....

That was close to being the best series they had IMO...

going old school with dials, hull plating, etc was a good idea..and they blew it playing with time travel BS...lost their way....same old silliness...

Firefly will never be beat.

There’s a reason why in 10 years there isn’t even a sniff of ST on TV: it’s effing’ expensive to produce.

Know a couple of guys who worked on Enterprise. Every damn scene was a CGI bankhole for the SFX companies and the sound stages had to be produced differently every episode. The difference is more costumes, more make-up artists etc. You might as well make a movie for the amount of dough producers have to cough up for one episode.
