Even though Harry Potter has graduated Hogwarts and moved onto bigger and brighter things (with decidedly less peril), J.K. Rowling is still creating magic with her words. As evidenced by her stunning takedown of Rupert Murdochs ignorant comments about the recent events in Paris.
On Friday, the News Corp chairman had some stunningly misguided words for the Muslim people of the world in the wake of the Charlie Hebdo attack in Paris, calling for the Moslems of the world to take the blame. Terrorism, you see, is their problem and theyll have to either fix it for the rest of the world, or resign themselves to being held accountable for every single bad thing the extremists do. That doesnt seem very logical, does it?

Rowling seems to miss the fact that 17 people have been killed.
Someone should explain to Rowling and to MTV this is not a contest between fifth graders to see which bully can come up with the best one-liners.
Yet every tea partier is to blame when Sarah Palin puts crosshairs on a map and some lunatic shoots some people.
Or the fact the Islamist Boko Haram insurgency may have just killed 2,000 Nigerians this past week in northern Nigeria. Sorry, Ms. Rowling--when thousands of people have been killed in the name of Islam in the last 70 years (you DO remember the 9/11 attacks in the USA, right?), it's very hard to support a religion that seems to have trouble disassociating itself from these fanatics.
