Displaying powerful symbolic unity, in fitting and proper testament to the defense of civilization, more than 40 world leaders linked arms to lead the mass march in Paris in resolve against Islamist terror.
The United States of America, Barack Obama, President, was inexcusably absent from one of the most critical turning points in the war between radical Islam and the West since 9/11.
No Obama. No Joe Biden. No John Kerry from State. No Chuck Hagel or Ashton Carter from Defense. Not even Eric Holder from Justice, who happened to have been in Paris.
Yet there was British Prime Minister David Cameron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Jordan’s King Abdullah and so many others — most extraordinarily including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

Not to support Obama or anything, but this whole Wussfest was a meaningless sham, designed to try to offset the rising tide of the so-called “Far Right” parties and movements like UKIP, PEGIDA and the Front National.

It doesn’t matter if 40 million people marched in Paris or anywhere else. It doesn’t matter if Obama was there or not.
Islamic jihadists are hell bent on destroying western civilization (or what’s left of it). Marchers aren’t going to deter them.
March or not, NO world leaders have the stomach to do what needs to be done and until or unless they do, the senseless murder of innocent people will continue.
Did anyone expect Obama to change his stance on Islamic terror? Our “leader” is keeping his word again:

Obama told the world at the UN how he really felt about Islam and anyone who has the temerity to satirize it. Sorry but no one should be shocked. Its also time to face facts. Obama was elected and reelected. His sentiments are not happening in a political or cultural vacuum. America sadly has entered a post Christian, neo pagan era of decadence and decline.
That is not all they have skipped. How about competence and veracity, something everyone needs but these feckless fools never had.
It could have offended the terrorists and then they would have questioned Obama’s commitment to the jihad against America.
