In Canada on business I was shocked to hear ONE DAY AFTER the Charlie Hebdo attacks, “Conservative Talk” CFRA call-in topic was:
“Are these cartoons offensive and should they be published?”
Talk about missing the point.
Then again CFRA is Canadian and owned by Bell Media so “free speech” really isn’t their bag so much as “go along and get along,” Allah willing.

So you would rather live in a country where the cartoons are not published and the question is never asked?
