He’s done his best to make his case. Whether his situation is described accurately or not, we don’t have a way to know really. I guess the real discriminator here is time, and he’s somewhat limited on that IMO (I’m 65 and couldn’t imagine a spouse with a three decade age difference).
What I do know about women is that a female isn’t inherently just a ‘nationality’. They all pretty much work the same way the world over. They are brought up in different locales and subjected to different upbringing, education and treatment. But in the end, when they are put in an environment such as here in the US, they adapt.
I guess what I’d be thinking if I were him is an honest assessment of what caused me to end the first relationship (with a female) and what is so different about the one I have now that will make it successful. I certainly feel a child between them isn’t going to accomplish that.
