A Dallas-based brewery is the location for an abortion celebration on January 22, 2015.
The date marks the 42nd anniversary of the infamous Roe v. Wade decision which legalized abortion on demand in the US. NARAL Pro-choice America has announced their Roe v Wade abortion “celebration” to take place at the Dallas Community Beer Company.
An event on the abortion lobby groups Facebook page reads, “Our World is Changing!
“On January 22, 2015 we will explore where we were 42 years ago when Roe v Wade became law, to where we are today with states eroding our reproductive and women’s health access.
Join us for the whole event or just part of it to Commemorate, Educate, Encourage and Inspire at:

Texans have a lot of explaining to do here.
There are lots of leftists in the big cities. Dallas County had a lesbian sheriff last time I was there.
Dallas is a raging bastion of liberalism. Hence why I live in more conservative Tarrant County.
I fear that Texas is going to eventually go blue on account of big cities and all those immigrants flooding over the border.

They (and other liberals in other cities, e.g. Austin) bring shame on an otherwise typically conservative Christian state.
In the aggregate Texans are a net plus for conservatism and Judeo-Christian values. But unfortunately we do have our “dark corners”.
That thought curdles my blood. Houston is pretty liberal as well and Austin. It makes Dallas look conservative.
There is a huge concern that the illegals immigrants can turn the state blue; however, there may be hope because some of the family values are those of more conservative leaning folks. Flip side, with all the entitlements they will receive, voting could be swayed to those who dole out the handouts.
Don’t lump it all together. Deep Ellum brewery in Dallas supported conservative candidates. Dallas sucks, but not all of it and everyone.
Well Wendy Davis tried running as a Republican for City Council in Ft. Worth (often lumped with the Dallas-Ft.Worth-Metroplex).
I hear an “apolitical” health talk show on (conservative talk) KNTH 1070AM (* part of the Salem Network) by two Dallasite couples (** who are pro-same sex marriage, and iffy on other issues when they bring them up in passing.
If there is strong conservativism in Dallas area politics, I haven’t heard it in these parts.

I live on the edge, in Grand Prairie. Nice, small-town feel, and conservative. Too bad we’re out-voted every single time by Dallas. Interestingly, Wendy Davis only received 54% of the votes in Dallas Co. It’s a 1% decrease. TBH, I’m not sure what this means. Is Dallas Co getting more conservative? One can only hope.
Not aware of this radio station. The two conservative talk show hosts I used to listen to are no longer on the air. Tarrant County still tends to be a bit more conservative than Dallas County, irrespective of Wendy Davis.
I live in Fort Worth, but grew up in the H-E-B. Very familiar with Grand Prairie. However, isn’t GP in Dallas County?
Yes one could hope Dallas Co. is becoming more conservative; however, I don’t see it ever completely turning.
I’m glad these guys showed their true colors, now I know to avoid their products. Lots of other craft beers to choose from in Texas.
Yes, most of it. There’s a tiny sliver of it that is part of Tarrant Co—incidentally, my church (non-denominational/Church of Christ) is on the Tarrant Co side.
Sales tax on that side is a full 25 basis points lower than on this side of the county line.

We don’t have Mark Davis or Sean Hannity or Jon-David Wells.
