Late evening, folks. Grandson is here for the night and I was finishing up some LATE post-Christmas shopping for Mom and the nieces and nephew - we’ll be in Cumberland for a belated holiday as of Thursday. (Got Mom a new printer and Mrs. Viking’s budget ledger groaned. Oh, well.) Gina - got a World Market anywhere near you? They also have an online store. We did chicken tikka over yellow rice with garlic-coriander tandoori bread for dinner tonight. Sweet, buttery, lots of flavor, and you can feed four for under $20.

Night. I monitor the weather almost hourly. Just an FYI - they’re saying the wind chill down here could get to -5 below when we leave. We’ll be bundled. After the Great Charlotte Debacle of 2012, we’ll be loaded for bear.
