I did more research and here is what I have found.
In Search of Bill Clinton: A Psychological Biography (Hardcover)
Any serious biographer of Bill Clinton needs to get this book for one reason only: author John Gartner pretty much nails down exactly WHO is Bill Clinton's biological father: Dr. George Wright of Hope, AR.
Virginia Kelley, Bill's mother, had to make up the fib about Billy Blythe being Bill's dad because Dr. George Wright was a married man. So picking a man who died before Bill Clinton was born was a good cover story.
Gartner went to Hope, AR and talked to all the old timers, people who had actually held Bill Clinton as a baby, and they told him it was *common knowledge" in Hope that Bill Clinton was the biological son of the married Dr. George Wright.
