Sad. Very sad.
It’s always better if you pull yourself together, and find another such friend as soon as you are comfortable in doing so.
We have always had multiple cats, but still it’s sad to lose them over the years. We have two will be going very soon. Both are showing the signs. One is twenty years, and the other is twenty-one years old. Both long time good friends.
My condolences.
Sorry to hear.
I am sorry to hear about this. I have lost 5 cats over the years. One was run over, another lost his hearing and was kind of mean and fought with the second cat that I had so it was put down. Then two cats were way too old and were put down and a fifth cat went missing and was lost.
One hard thing to do.
Remember the goodness. You’ll know it again.
Wishing you peace and comfort. Losing a beloved pet hurts.
I have always found that when getting kittens or pups, it has been better to get one pet, have it bond with the family then get the other when the first is about a year old. Then the second bonds with the humans too. Otherwise I have found them to be too other focused.
So sorry for your loss. I’m with the Pope- he said dogs go to heaven - and I’m sure cats do too.
Oh Robe!
I’m so sorry for your... your... gee I can’t say ‘loss’. You didn’t lose your best bud. Your best bud graduated from this life to his next and could only have done that because of all your love. You’re not losing the wonderful memories of fun times and mischievous times. I know there were many! Embrace those moments.
Ok. It hurts. Life sucks.
I’m sitting here crying for you and I don’t even know you or your cat. I pray that my tears will soften your pain.
Say “Buddy” and smile.

One time I went to the shelter looking for a cat that we were missing, and came home with a guinea pig.
I also told my wife about a nice sweet Lynx point female that some bastard had de-clawed and she went and adopted it the next day.
I had a sweet Siamese (Vera) that lived almost to 21.
I still often think of her...I loved the little furball.
Sorry for your loss.
So sorry for your loss. They really do become an essential part of the family.
Sorry for your loss. Do you have any pictures of your kitty that you can share?
What a handsome guy.
My sympathies to you as we had to put our nearly 14-year-old Australian Cattle Dog to sleep the Friday before Christmas. She was also suffering from renal failure and couldn’t get up that morning. We’re planning to scatter her ashes this afternoon.
God loves Buddy more than you do and he is now with God. Animals do not sin and live in a natural state of grace with our loving Creator.
You will see Buddy again. I am sure of it. Buddy is now in much better shape too. No more kidney problems.
