Read the article, it might have had something to do with lead time. Still, you’d think the publishers would have some sort of contingency plan, an old strip to paste in when the one in the pipeline needed to be pulled. I suppose the dead tree distribution chain has a long lead time.
IIRC, Trudeau doesn’t actually do the strip any more. He has underlings for that now...................
He absolutely knew about this before it was going to run, he just doesn’t care ‘because the point was the same’ or some crappola.
