It’s the most, wonderful time, of the year....Hi all, hope your holidays are dreamy...I’m back from a quick trip to Atlanta and ready for some OTR. This is the last BB thread of 2014. Thanks for being here and may 2015 give you everything you seek.

Lineups don’t get much stronger than tonight’s....Jack Benny...the awesome Phil Harris and Alice Faye...Burns and Allen are classic...and a solid last hour- best listened to in the dark- of Mysterious Traveler and Inner Sanctum.

How you doing?

Hello, FRiends! Thanks, Vision!

It's a Happy New Year show with a "Mysterious Traveler" and an "Inner Sanctum." And, it looks like the "Inner Sanctum" is a lesson in exercising moderation in New Year's Eve libations. We have a sad New Year's Eve-set "Dragnet" with a policeman getting shot. Coincidence with New Year's approaching or the recent barbaric headlines? Hmmm...

These brief synopses are used with permission from the RadioGOLDINdex © 2014 J. David Goldin.

7:00 PM Eastern War Time Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar. November 11, 1956. CBS net. "The Big Scoop Matter". Sustaining. The show has a strangely bittersweet ending. A similar script was used on the program of January 1, 1950 (see cat. # ). Jack Benny, Don Wilson, Phil Harris and His Orchestra, Mary Livingstone, Dennis Day, Andy Devine, Harry Baldwin, Ed Beloin (writer, performer), Edward Marr (doubles), Benny Rubin (doubles), Blanche Stewart, Bill Morrow (writer). 29:32. Happy New Year, Vision! We’ve been at this for quite a while now. I can’t remember how many years we’ve been hanging out here with you on Sunday evenings. I still look forward to it each week. :-)

You had a good trip? I’m sure you’re glad to be home. It’s foggy here with my usual doing-laundry Sunday. We might have leftovers for dinner. Whatchoo got?
