If I take public transportation, a "man spread," is necessary. Why? To air the family jewels, relax for the dunlap, and to keep "undesirables" from getting too close to me.

I don't know about that. They used to try to make a crime out of "male gaze," ie a man looking at a woman in public. In the Old South it actually was a crime--for black people. They called it "eyeball rape" and it might get a fellow lynched. Nice the left wing feminazis would adopt an old racist tactic to suppress certain groups. As for "man spread," I suspect it is related to repressed sexual feelings among any women who might be flustered by it.
