In the wake of recent police shootings of Brown and Garner, murder of police officers, and the overall distrust and tension fomented by DeBlasio, Sharpton, Holder, Obama, etc., primarily in New York, Giuliani has placed himself in the spotlight by speaking out against these troublemakers.
His soothing yet firm demeanor is reminiscent of Ronald Reagan and could be just what America needs following a chaotic eight years of the amateur in the White House.

No. He had his chance to run against HRC in 2000 and was distracted in large part by his personal life. He is 70 now, and will be 72 in 2016. Plus he is no conservative. He doesn’t know how to play outside NYC as eveidenced by his 2008 campaign. Fuhgeddaboutit ...

I WAS here then and look who we ended up with.

I was the chairman of the 2007-08 FR Giuliani caucus, and by some miracle I was not banned over it.
I do not think you will find too many supporters here.
Although
He would have beat “Obama” like a rented mule, and we would have been much better off.

IMNVHO, Giuliani was a great prosecutor, a world class mayor, and is a lousy national candidate. Probably do an excellent job. Why isn’t he Governor?

What do I think??
The first thing I thought was that you must not have been here in 2008. Too new to remember the bugzapper thread.
Yep. I checked your sign on date. And you are too new to remember.
You get a pass. This time. But if you EVER endorse Rudy for prez again....

It was a stupid idea in 2008 and it’s a stupid idea now.

He would have beat Obama like a rented mule, and we would have been much better off.I can think of 50 FReepers, including you and me, who could have forced Reggie's Boy Friend to tears in a debate. It took the "Republicans" (whatever TF THEY are nowadays) a long hard time and Billions to find candidates who couldn't.
