**SNIP**

McKee said she’d like to see Cosby sit for a lie-detector test.

She also called it “embarrassing” that Cosby’s wife of 51 years, Camille, released a statement suggesting her husband was the “victim.”

“I knew (Camille). We’d been to dinner, all of us, many times,” McKee said. “This is not a stupid woman. She has her head buried in the sand."

Maybe it would be easier to make a list of the women we know Cosby didn’t rape.

You really have it in for Cosby, don’t you? You need to get a lawyer and join the queue.

The problem I always had with Cosby as a positive role model is that anyone who is a longtime friend of Hugh Heffner and is a fixture at Playboy Mansion parties can't practice what he preaches.

Not really, but you seem to be hinting that you think that he is indeed a rapist, but that you want to defend him anyway.

“Exactly who did Cosby NOT rape?”

Laz. I think Laz never got the opportunity. He could be feeling left out.

I realize that many celebrities have found themselves to be the targets of baseless lawsuits. However, in this case I think too many women have now come forward to simply dismiss them all as looking for publicity and/or a payout. While I don’t condone this woman’s “road wife” relationship with Sammy Davis Jr., I wish she had said something to him. Cosby always claimed to be such a good friend of his. I remember how, during Sammy Davis Jr’s final days, Cosby always wore a pin bearing Davis’ initials on “The Cosby Show” as a show of support for his “close personal friend.” If only he knew.

I think Cosby has taken many liberties with women and IS probably a rapist. However, given the time that has passed, I don’t think sufficient evidence exists to convict him. I also think that some, maybe many, of his accusers are lying opportunists. IMHO, I think many women lose their inhibitions around many male celebrities and regret it later, but that does not make it rape.

If you want to interpret that last part as a defense, it’s your call.

IF we suppose this woman is telling the truth, and she was the “road wife” for Sammy DAvis, Jr., and Sammy and Bill were such great friends, Cosby raping this woman was saying “FU 2!” to Sammy as well.

The lives of the rich, famous, and entertainment crowd is not like our lives. Their money, fame and power make them unaccountable, and they think that way also.

But to drug and then rape women shows a deep dark pathology.

And to rape your friend’s concubine is an extension of that pathology.

Cosby is deeply disturbed individual if ANY of these stories are true.

We have seen a number of posters do that, they seem to be defending Cosby and attacking the women, yet all the while thinking that Cosby has indeed raped some women.

It just seems so bizarre, it’s almost as though a celebrity is allowed to mix up rape and sex a little bit, because they are famous.

I think it has more to do with the suspicion that many of these women are lying in order to get $$ and/or their 15 minutes of fame. Are they all lying? Probably not, but it’s long since turned into a pyle-on.

It seems like a form of moral relativism. It’s not OK to rape, but it is more OK to rape a person who does not conform to my higher moral standards. IOW some women do not deserve concern from the public because of their choice of personal lifestyle. IOW there are multiple levels of society. A higher level consists of people with so-called higher morals and those people deserve more consideration and concern. A lower level consists of people with so-called lower morals and the public should not be concerned about them because of their different, lower morals. The people with the lower morals have not made a good social compact to expect or deserve justice or even compassion— more like derision and suspicion. And oh, by the way, the people with the higher morals get a self-goosie from every time they announce that their morals are so high that they feel comfortable displaying their lack of concern for rape of people whose morals they deem lower than their own.

Well, you seem more interested in going after the women collectively, although you think that Cosby raped some of them, and you don’t know which ones specifically that you want to claim as fakes.

Yep, and in line with that is another approach some of these posters use, and that is to talk about "the times" as making a little rape more understandable from a rich guy.

Wasn’t really referring to Cosby specifically, more to entertainers in general. I was thinking of a testimony I heard from a former actor who became a Christian. He described some of the common behavior in that world-the one that hurt him the most to remember was having his little girl find him in bed with two women. Yuck. For all the jokes about group sex, it is still a vile practice.

Gosh, they are making me feel like I am missing out on a hidden benefit of being a rich and famous guy. It seems almost as if I could go out and drug and rape some girls if I was rich enough, and then I could get the friendly apologists to claim on my behalf that the girls I allegedly drugged and raped were gold diggers and asking for it, and doubly asking for it if my victims happened to work as playboy bunnies, cocktail waitresses, or if they ever had premarital sex with someone else. All I would need is more money and fame, and removal of my conscience. Hmm, I wonder if rich and famous guys already know about this and are already relying on it.

Cosby’s wife is always smiling. It’s disturbing.

Cosby is a multi-millionaire, what's in your safe?

A MAN WHO DRUGS AND VIOLENTLY RAPES WOMEN make me sick.

IF he did it, yes...on the other hand, you wait for 20-25-30-40 YEARS to make your claim...and you have been out to dinner with them...............stretches the imagination a bit.
