North Korea ,made a blunder I think. By being petty and attacking a company it doesn’t like, it reveals its cyber capabilities to the world giving a notion to enemy governments as to how to harden and protect their own computer networks. It would’ve been better for them to have kept their powder dry over this one movie!

Sony’s “networks” are severely lax. They have had multiple intrusions into their IP and networks for a handful of years now (their Playstation network was down for over a week recently because of DDOS and intrusions). Its like they don’t learn and have no motivation to harden their networks. The only thing I can come up with is they engineered great products then just plugged them into a network without thinking there are people “out there” that simply like to raise havoc wherever and whenever they can. The IPv4 Internet was NEVER built with security in mind, that was an after thought. The end nodes provide most of the security even today.
