The girl who owns the cat is one patient soul. She really plays well. At first I thought I heard something like Chopin, but then I heard modern musical bridges and accents.
I think she was trying to finish the composition, pouring in all the energy needed, but soon, That Darn Cat became too much of a distraction. A lot of home musicians I know, the really good ones, do not have much patience for getting their flow interrupted by anything or anybody, sometimes, not even the wife.
Cat translation: “I love your lap, mommy, and I am cold. I’m looking at you to make you stop jiggling. Me don’t like.”
But this is what cats ALWAYS do. They understand that if they move into certain physical locations, you simply have to pay attention to them. They are quite expert at figuring out those locations.
Kitty wants to be the center of attention, and when it’s time to be held, it’s time to be held. Pretty standard housecat behavior.

Mt cat takes that exact same position on me every morning when I sit down at my laptop. He repeats it numerous times throughout the day.
Stuff like this video makes me wonder how on earth everybody is not a cat lover.
