“One little oddity I recall her in was in the pilot episode of “The Girl from UNCLE,” with Norman Fell as her co-star. The two of them were really good in their roles, and it aired as an episode of “The Man from UNCLE.” But, they were replaced by Stephanie Powers and Neil Harrison in the resulting series, and it turned out to be a real stinker of a show. I always thought that if the producers stuck with Mobley/Fell and the original concept of pretty girl spy and older spy expert showing her the ropes, it might have actually clicked.”
Now THAT’S a piece of trivia! I liked the show, The Girl from Uncle, but I wish I had seen those two together, as it sounds like it was a more winning combination.
