I stopped going to movies several years back. There’s just too many distractions, particularly illuminated cell phones. People are admonished to turn them off and put them away; no matter, the last time I was there many were texting and a few were actually having conversations.

I guess it depends on the theater management and the audience. Where I usually go, we get the same admonishments and most obey. Those that don't get talked to by staff.

I have thought I will die in a movie theatre being shot after telling some one to be quite or turn phone off
