I do not recall proposing a specific goal so that we can “get there” in a world where human government is subject to faults and error. If you mean we will never have an educated population capable of living virtuously, we are closer to that than you might think.

Meanwhile, pray and think positive. No authority exists outside of what the Creator allows. Think local. Those who feed the monster will die by it. It’s a win-win if you know Whose you are.

I’ve corresponded with some liberal types who think the same way: nothing but defeat in view of world forces of this or that kind. If you live your life thinking only in generalities and painting with broad brushes, you will only cause yourself undue anxiety. Work within your means in your home and neighborhood, and do so with grace. The rest will take care of itself.

The reason I don’t think we will get there in terms of having an educated population capable of living virtuously, because there are far too few sources of such a philosophy.

People are bombarded from all sides with the exact opposite philosophy, which is precisely what this government wants.

There is almost no one teaching conservatism or virtuous living these days, thus there are few receiving that information.

Without that, any one who does think and live that way is going to be massively outnumbered.
