your response is stupid.

You live in the slave state of New York

I'm not stupid enough to live there. I've had these kind of online conversations with people from the East Coast. They never get how deep in the soup they are, and they keep repeating the same dumb East Coast Big-Gov mantras, over and over.

In New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and the rest of the Blue Coast.

I'll tell you what I see. We have the media, and the executive branch of our federal government that are waging a propaganda war on local police departments. They want to federalize local LE. And when that happens you will have a Real Big Centralized Corrupt Police State.

So you "think" my above comment in bold is a pro Big-Gov mantra. Warning about a federal takeover of local LE. Warning about Obama wanting a Real Big Centralized Corrupt Police State.

LOL.

As I said, your comment is stupid.

I actually lost interest in the conversation when I realized I was conversing with a Blue Coast dumb person.

NOTHING penetrates the fog of an East Coast slave brain, so why bother? LOL! :)

You can keep your cesspool, your Lord Governour, and your cop under every rock. May your chains rest lightly.

I never said I wanted my governor. You on the other hand take exception to me warning about Obama, Holder and the Feds wanting to nationalize local police.

As I said enjoy your Big Centralized Obama Controlled police state.

Hands up. Don't shoot.

LOL.

So, the East Coast servitude thingee:

Are you guys born with it, or do you have to go to special schools to learn to touch your forelocks in the presence of political royalty like the Kennedys, Cuomos & Bidens? LOL! :)

BTW, what location are you in where you see your local police all day in boats, trailers, snowmobiles and behind every rock?

Or are those "police behind rocks" in your head?

LOL ;)

I see all that, and I don't even live in a slave state like you.

Wonder when your Lord Governour Cuomo will reduce you all to two-round gun magazines, and declare "prima nocta", if your wife is hot?

Is it true they remove the lower legs of all the male Blue Coast peasants, so's being on your knees is more convenient for all concerned? LOL! :)

It would have been nice to see this continue to be about the issue and not whether blue coasters are conditioned to accept the intrusive governments they endure.

Suffice it to say ...mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

And to follow, how easy is it to just get out of New York, or how smart is it if one is carrying on well in spite of some things which are distasteful? A lot of people are happy to call it home, it seems to me.

You both made your points and I agree with them. The barking that is being done over this this fellow's choking death in NYC for selling "loosies", is almost all being done up the wrong tree.

Of course I wasn't there, but nothing has been presented as far as I can tell, which justifies the kind of force that was used in this instance, or that justifies an arrest at all for the supposed offense committed.

Not that it may well and truly be the law, but it would be just one of many that exist without a foundation of solid principle. Taxing authorities hold pretty much free reign on the civil side of things, and that ought to be remedy enough do deal with whatever tax payment issues there might have been. There is no legitimate cause for guys with guns to be going after that kind of violator, absent a judgement and warrant issued by a court.

Period.

I stay on the blue coast for now because of family and job. Some day soon I WILL be able to leave.

What about you. Why do you stay in blue Oregon?

Touche' almost...

Truth is I am a lifelong Oregonian and have a house and pay taxes there and everything. But there is a depression in Oregon so for the last 5 years I just get to go home to visit once in a while, it is more or less a domicile.

So 'til I can retire in a few years I'm sort of following money around, living the dream in boomtown USA. I could grow new roots but I'm not interested in doing that where I'm presently working. Paid for house in Oregon should support itself but renters haven't taken care of it all that well. In fact I have to go up there in a couple weeks and shovel some more money into it, and if the market has picked up any I might just decide to sell it. Because if I do retire back to Oregon it WON'T be in Eugene - not when there' a perfectly good beach just 45 miles away.

Ah, but that's just the issue, don't you see?

Were the police "called" to the execution site, or were they just hanging around the neighborhood anyway?

Sources that I've read say that the cops were in the neighborhood, and saw Garner break up the fight earlier.

In that case, "the issue" is cops buzzing around, looking for trouble. As in how street gangs hang around, looking for trouble, not the "good" kind of looking for trouble, where the police are protecting the peasantry.

My point about Blue Coasters is that they're like the children in African documentaries, their faces crawling with flies, and they don't even notice the flies.

Similarly, the police are buzzing around in annoying and dangerous swarms, and the Blue Coasties don't even bat an eye.

I'll point to the Eric Frein thingee in next-door Pennsylvania - what the heck do hundreds of law enforcement personnel (up to a thousand) do all day that they can take 5 weeks off at the drop of a hat (or a dead PA state trooper)?

We PAY for these guys to buzz around like well-fed flies. Nice work, if you can get it, but I don't like paying for shovel-leaning, and I'm going to ask rude questions about what our "public servants" are up to.

“The cigarettes are bootleg. The NY taxes are not paid.”

How do they know they were not paid?

They had a $500,000 "loosies" infratax radar scanner mounted on the Bearcat MRAP, next to the 50 caliber Ma Deuce...

ROFLMA off.

My point is it’s a dumb law.

Dumb laws are zero tolerance and zero brains.
