Call a counselor, therapist, psychiatrist or relative who has been able to help in the past. Don't be calling a man with a gun - he's likely to use it.

Read Post #34 and you'll understand. The mental health professionals and families hands are tied by the laws. Then you'll also understand why police are now called. Understanding the problem and agreeing with procedures are two different issues. Police thanks to the courts were given a task that should not be theirs to start with.
