I’m waiting for the District9 sequel. I’m sick to death of JJ Abrams’ lens flares and James Cameron just makes me sick.

Enough with the Star Trek and Star Wars franchises. How about making films of the Jack Vance “Planet of Adventure” stories. Or Heinlein’s “The Moon is a Harsh Mistress”? anything but these done-to-death series.

And no no more f***ing comic book movies. Yes I’m an old curmudgeon. I’m not a bit sorry about it. Enough movies for 8 year olds and enough remakes already.

Jack Vance actually has a few connections to Star Wars. I know the term ‘Star Wars’ is in one of his books, and he helped storyboard artist David Russell get hired for Jedi.

I'd be in line for that. And that one could be done as a fairly inexpensive independent film, like "Moon" was.
