Oh my. WOW. That’s a lot of bacon! Looks yummy.

Nothing in my oven today. Cooked everything early yesterday with the nor’easter knocking at our door. Didn’t want to be without power again and no Thanksgiving dinner. It’s actually kinda nice. Now I can relax and there is no fighting in the kitchen as to how to cook things and no worries about somebody putting in any extra spices, LOL. Well, I will still have to watch the egg nog!

Happy Thanksgiving!

That turkey won’t be dry!

A 92 year old woman friend to my mother told her years ago to stuff the turkey with a cut up apple and celery and it wouldn’t dry. She was so right. They’ve been perfect ever since.

My mom used to stuff her turkey with cut up apples. I don’t know if it kept the turkey moist or not, but I LOVED eating the apple mush!

My turkey will go on the grill outside later.
