The "riots" occurring tonight are minimal and nothing compared to what was seen this past summer in Ferguson. Most reporting done tonight has been laughable and inflammatory, IMO.
A pox on the media.
Communists and anarchists love riots and are very disappointed when black people let them down by not dying in large numbers for the cause.
You mean half of America is not burning?
I’ve been watching that new news network OANN. Pretty impressed. It’s definitely refreshing, crazy as that sounds tonight, to not be able to predict what the reporters and anchors are gonna say before they say it...,
It’s like in Rwanda where the local radio stations were encouraging the Hutus to slaughter the Tutsis.
Three businesses on fire. One cop car on fire. Dozens of rounds of gunfire.
I missed Bingo Night for this!?
I demand a refund!
I think you are out of the loop.
There is far more going on then you are suggesting.
Maybe you should hit up the police scanner to get an idea.
Wishing it weren’t so isn’t making it true.
In fact, the MSM, and Fox News in particular, are overly dramatic and hyperbolic ....
Yep. I was saying that earlier tonight.
Well, been watching on CNN. Appears the idiots in Ferguson are burning their own town down. Police and fire depts backing away because of gunfire. They can only move about in armored vehicles. Looks like a war zone.
Are you here in St. Louis tonight?
Yep. Propaganda to incite racial antagonism has been used during economic lows, off and on, for a very long time. It’s a kind of distraction propaganda used to distract from some of the real causes.
The best answer that I know of is to reject and ridicule politics during such times, and to engage in a project for lowering personal costs of living (home energy, food, etc.) and less centralized, more distributed production (build something useful, like a tractor).
The MSM is doing the best they can to inflame the situation, but it's not nearly as distressing as “metrosexuals” such as Shep Smith would have us believe (Thousands of protesters in Times Square when I could see barely a hundred, if not less).
The protests that broke out in Ferguson when this first happened were far more involved than the “chaos” we are now witnessing.
The professional rabble rousers are doing their due diligence in Ferguson, but their influence and impact are minimal in comparison to protests of past, IMO.
Reporting out of Cali: the Sacramento protest has flamed up - the Walmart out there is now under siege, civilians trapped inside with the Gibsmedats outside.
The above was just posted by Old Sarge on the Live Thread.
So you’re upset it isn’t worse?
Maybe you should take a peek at the live thread, there is action going on in multiple places.
Of course the freakin media flamed this, and our loser in charge poured gasoline on it tonight after the announcement was made.
It’s ugly and it disgusts me.
Rise to compete! Everyone invited!

Permaculture and the Myth of Scarcity

(followed by a search for great, money-saving do-it-yourself projects with the word, permaculture)
Actually this is much worse.
There is lots more going on as I'm hearing that I44 has been shut down by crowds that obvious had planned that to be one site "identified" ahead of time to let "whitey know we're not finished."
The Left has been waiting for this moment for years. Now that their guy is in the White House, they decided that this would be their hill to die on.
