We've highlighted Giants receiver Odell Beckham's skills before, but this is unreal. Check out the athleticism he employs to snag this ball with one hand and still make it into the end zone. Even Al Michaels couldn't believe what he'd seen, and he's seen everything.

I suspect those gloves they all wear helped. I remember Fred Biletnikov used to put stickum all over his hands back before they used gloves. True...Those gloves have fly catcher glue type substance on them...You could probably catch a ball with the back of your hand...Still, a great catch...

"I cannot stand either one of them and I could care less that Al is a friend of Rush."

To each his own. By the way, Michaels was on O'Reilly the other night, plugging his new book. The only time I remember Michaels being political during a game was when Kerry was running for president, and Michaels made an off-handed dig at him. Don't remember what it was.

    Spectacular catch.
And it means nothing if the Giants end up losing.

Turns out he didn't just catch it with one hand ... he only had
THREE FINGERS around it!

How big are his hands. Anybody know?Wiki says 10" . ( I looked that up, first thing. )

Not quite that spectacular but Max McGee made an incredible catch in the first Super Bowl. Bart Starr rarely threw a poor pass but he threw one behind Max and he reached back with one hand and hauled it in.
McGee who was a bench warmer until Boyd Dowler was injured in the first quarter, knew it was probably his last game as he was pretty old but he caught the first TD pass in Super Bowl history.

He also played for LSU, where he had to catch them like that all the time, or not get any receptions. Les Miles has this odd way of putting in the worst QB from his options.

Not just an amazing catch, but an excellent landing too.

I don't care if they lose every other game this season as long as they beat Dallas twice.
I still remember the biggest highlight of the '82 season. It wasn't the Redskins' victory over the Dolphins in the Super Bowl. It was their victory over Dallas in the NFC Championship game.

Even better pure catch than Tyree’s....though not nearly as important.

And it means nothing if the Giants end up losing. That's absurd. Do you realize that almost 50% of all highlights are from players on teams who lost? Think about it.
