New York has sent a warning to its schools: Expect more illegal immigrants. The city Department of Education has told principals it plans this year to enroll 2,350 migrant children from Central America who crossed into the United States unaccompanied — with many more to come.

Perfect! Comrade Bill (DiBlasio), an avowed Communist who went to Nicaragua to aid the Commie rebels, is probably leaping around Gracie Mansion (the mayoral manor) in absolute joy. Meanwhile, your kids and we teachers will be exposed to G-d-knows-what infectious diseases, lice, scabies, gang members, and criminals, all sucking hard at the city teat like there's no tomorrow. Meanwhile, I can tell you right from the trenches that kids who BELONG in the city schools are being educated on the margins already, with shortages of supplies, books, desks, chairs, every manner of teaching material you can name. Teachers have to fight for paper to xerox educational materials. Capital building and repairs take years to get. And now they are having 2350 resource-sucking illegals to contend with as well. That will call for bilingual teachers, bilingual guidance counselors, bilingual textbooks and all other types of expenditures--for people who don't qualify for one single thin dime of it. They are CRIMINALS who invaded our country, yet Odungo and outright idiots like DiBlahBlah treat them as honored guests, putting their needs over the needs of the kids most deserving of materials--YOUR kids who are American citizens living in the city.

Wouldn't it be great if the "parents" even knew whether their kid was in school or not? I often have to call parents to let them know that their kid was not in school, was cutting classes or was chronically late. A lot of parents don't even know when report cards come out, either.

Well said, but this is being done by the Rat elected leadership in NYC. I doubt that the plague would change the voter base for DiBlasio, at this stage. A full societal collapse is going to be needed, but even then, the devolution may continue.

Put illegal non-English speaking students in their own schools - bus/subway them there. Put NYC’s very worst teachers in those schools. If they can remove the worst teachers from each school, even NYC should be able to provide a slightly better education to legal immigrants. As for educating criminals who break the law to come here, if they can’t get a free education at our expense, they have less incentive to come here.

Then fix the legal immigration system so those we want to have coming here can actually do so legally. Fix the legal system so employers can hire the immigrants they want to hire without anyone breaking the law.
